Teltonika RUT241
The RUT241 is a 4G LTE industrial router with 3G and 2G fallback.
The RUT241 connects to the controller over Ethernet, not RS232. The controller firmware must be configured for Ethernet uplink to OrbiSCADA.
| Specification | Value |
| Modem type | Teltonika RUT241 |
| Housing color | Black |
| Network | 4G LTE Cat 4 with 3G and 2G fallback |
| Power | 9–30 V DC via 4-pin power socket |
| Antenna connector | 2 × SMA female (main + auxiliary cellular), 1 × RP-SMA (Wi-Fi) |
| SIM | 1 × Mini-SIM (2FF) + eSIM |
Antenna
The RUT241 has three external antenna connectors: a Main cellular antenna, an Auxiliary cellular antenna (for MIMO diversity), and a Wi-Fi antenna. The Main cellular antenna is required for the router to connect. The Auxiliary cellular antenna is strongly recommended since the RUT241 uses both for MIMO, which significantly improves throughput and signal stability at sites with marginal or variable coverage.
| Antenna requirement | Value |
| Connector on router (cellular Main) | SMA female |
| Connector on router (cellular Auxiliary) | SMA female |
| Connector on router (Wi-Fi) | RP-SMA female |
| Connector on cellular antenna cable | SMA male |
| Supported frequency bands | 4G LTE Cat 4 bands for your operator (B1, B3, B7, B8, B20 and others), with 3G and 2G fallback. |
