Cinterion SGL81
The SGL81 is a 4G LTE Cat 4 smart gateway with 3G and 2G fallback. It connects the controller to OrbiSCADA over the mobile network. For the connection to work it needs an active SIM card with mobile data, mobile coverage at the site, and a correctly connected external antenna.

Antenna
The SGL81 has two external cellular antenna connectors: a Main antenna and a Diversity (auxiliary) antenna. The Main antenna is required for the modem to connect. The Diversity antenna is optional and improves signal stability at sites with marginal or variable coverage.
