This page lists the modems Orbital has shipped with TMC-3 controllers, their supported network technologies, and which TMC-3 firmware each one works with. Use this page first when identifying a modem on site, choosing a replacement, or planning a firmware upgrade.

Cinterion EGX81-W	Black	LTE-M (Cat M1), NB-IoT (Cat NB1/NB2), 2G fallback	LTE-M and NB-IoT are not the same as standard 4G LTE used by phones (Cat 4 and above).
Cinterion SGL81	Orange	4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, 2G fallback	Standard 4G LTE modem with 3G and 2G fallback.
Teltonika RUT206	Black	4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, 2G fallback	Industrial cellular router, not a direct modem. Used when the TMC-3 runs Ethernet firmware and needs cellular connection to OrbiSCADA.
Teltonika RUT241	Black	4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, 2G fallback	Industrial cellular router, not a direct modem. Used when the TMC-3 runs Ethernet firmware and needs cellular connection to OrbiSCADA.
