Using the List view in OrbiSCADA

The List view appears in the sidebar menu when you have access to more than one controller. If you only have access to a single controller, the List view is not shown.

Please note: The List view updates every 15 minutes and does not show live data. The status colors and labels may therefore not match the controller's current state. To see the current status, click a controller to open its live view, which may show a different or more recent state.

Status colors and labels

The List view uses a background color and text labels to show controller status. The background color reflects the highest-priority active state, while the text next to the controller name shows the active status messages.

  • Red background: The controller is in an error state and no higher-priority condition is active. The specific error message appears in the status column.
  • Grey background: The controller has timed out, meaning there is no communication or connection. "Timeout" is added in yellow text in the status column.
  • Brown background: The controller has a warning and no higher-priority condition is active. The specific warning message appears in the status column.
  • Blue background: The controller is in manual mode or service mode, and no higher-priority error, warning, or timeout state is active.

When more than one state applies, the background color shows the highest-priority state, while all active conditions still appear in the status column. Timeout takes priority over other states. For example, a controller that has both an error and a timeout uses the grey timeout background, but both the error message and "Timeout" are shown in the status column.

Customize which columns are shown

You can choose which columns appear in the List view by clicking Columns. Your column choices are saved per device, so the visible columns may differ from one device to another.

Change how many rows the list shows by default

You can set how many rows the List view loads to begin with. This setting is saved in your browser's local storage, so it applies per device.

  1. Go to Account.
  2. Open the Site Settings tab.
  3. Under Select default start rows shown in list, choose a value (for example 100).

Please note: Setting this to All can increase the loading time of the list, especially if you have access to many controllers.

Because Site Settings are stored in local storage, they are saved per device rather than on your account. If you clear your browser's local storage, these settings reset to their defaults.
