How to manage notifications in OrbiSCADA
This article explains how to manage your notification subscriptions in OrbiSCADA. Notifications are managed from your user account settings per controller.
Notification options may be available for a controller, but they are not automatically subscribed. The user must actively select the checkbox for each controller and notification type they want to receive.
Open your notification settings
- Log in to OrbiSCADA.
- In the left sidebar menu, click Account.
- Open the Notifications tab.
If notifications are available for your user, you will see a table with controllers listed in rows and notification types shown as columns. Each row represents a controller or installation that your user has access to. Each column represents a notification type.
Depending on your setup, available notification types may include:
- Connection mails
- Error mails
- Manual warning mails
- Observation mails
To subscribe, select the checkbox for the relevant controller and notification type.
If you do not receive notifications
If you have enabled notifications but do not receive e-mails or SMS messages, please check:
- That the checkbox is selected for the correct controller
- That the correct notification type is selected
- That your e-mail address is correct in your OrbiSCADA profile
- Your spam or junk mail folder
- Whether your company mail filter blocks OrbiSCADA e-mails
- Whether the issue affects one controller or several controllers
